Camp/Class Descriptions

Listed in order they occur - please read carefully! Please speak to Miss Lori if you have questions regarding which camp(s) your dancer is eligible for or needs to take!

Company Camp - Intermediate/Advanced - Open to all current & new dancers ages 7-18 wanting to take their dancing to the next level! Recreational dancers are welcome to take this camp if they want a challenge. Dancers wanting to be evaluated for the 2025-26 competitive team must complete this camp including the July 24th evaluation day. Those not wanting to compete in the upcoming season need not to register for/attend the July 24th date.

*NEW* DEBUT - first time company dancers starting at age 6 who wish to be a part of our DEBUT company team! These dancers will take class from 4:00PM-7:00PM & will participate in evaluations on July 24th 10:00AM-12:00PM. 

July 21-23 Camp 4:00PM-8:00PM (no evaluation) $400

July 21-23 Camp 4:00PM-8:00PM + July 24th Evaluation 10:00AM-12PM $500 for returning company 

*DEBUT* July 21-23 Camp 4:00PM-7:00PM + July 24th Evaluation $350

Registration of 2 or more receives a $25 discount off total. An informational parent meeting will be held at 12:00PM July 24th at the conclusion of our evaluations!

Acro Mini Session - July 28 | Aug 4 | Aug 11 | Aug 18 - 5:30-6:00  ages 5-7 beginner  $15 per class or 4 for $50! Beginner level to keep up on skills or try acro for the very first time!| 7:30-8:30 beginner/intermediate ages 7 & up $25 per class or 4 for $80 - keep up with skills or learn something new! 

Hip Hop Mini Session - July 28 | Aug 4 | Aug 11 | Aug 18 - 6:00-7:30 Ages 7 & up - Beginner/Intermediate $30 per class or 4 for $100 - learn technique, tricks & combos - every class ends with a glow in the dark dance off! 

Dance Mode for Littles! - ALL CLASSES FULL! July 30 | July 31 | Aug 4 | Aug 5 - 10:00AM - 11:00AM - ages 2-5 - $20 per class or $5 off 2 or more - 1 hour of FUN - introduce your littles to dance with this fun Bluey themed dance session - a parent is welcome to join in - come to as many sessions as you'd like to warm up to dance! 

Defy Gravity Dance Camp - July 30 & July 31 12:00PM - 2:30PM - ages 6 & up - $50 or register for 2 themed camps for $85 - each camp includes a small snack & water (pack your own if you need to!) and includes craft, dancing, games & wickedly good FUN! << this is a 2 day camp

Art of Dance Camp - Aug 4 & Aug 5 12:00PM - 2:30PM - ages 6 & up - $50 or register for 2 themed camps for $85 - each camp includes a small snack & water (pack your own if you need to!) Learn about Art and dance as they come together in this camp with Miss Catherine! Crafts are included << this is a 2 day camp  

Dance Camp - August 12-14th 10:00AM - 2:00PM - ages 7 & up - beginner/intermediate - $175 per dancer - open to ALL dancers and geared towards first time dancers and dancers moving up in an age level in the 2025/2026 season.  This is NOT a competitve camp and is NOT required of company dancers. This camp however is encouraged to non-competitive dancers who would like to be considered for a solo/duo in the 2026 recital. Pack your own lunch - 30 min lunch break. << this is a 3 day camp

WAIVER OF LIABILITY (Releases of liability)
I/we realize that participation in dance classes and activities could involve some possible personal injury. Despite precautions, accidents and injuries may occur. By signing this release form, I/we assume all risks related to the use of any and all spaces used by For the Love of Dance Studio . I/we agree to release and hold harmless For the Love of Dance Studio including its owners, teachers, dancers, staff members, and facilities used by both entities from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future. I/we will not hold For the Love of Dance Studio liable for any personal injury or any personal property damage, which may occur on the premises before, during or after classes. Furthermore, I/we agree to obey the class and facility rules and take full responsibility for my/our behavior in addition to any damage I/we may cause to the facilities utilized by For the Love of Dance Studio.

 
MEDICAL EMERGENCY POLICY
I grant permission to the staff of For the Love of Dance Studio to take first aid or emergency measures as judged necessary for the care and protection of my child while under the supervision of the studio. In case of medical emergency, I understand that my child will be transported to an appropriate medical facility by the local emergency unit for treatment if the emergency unit deems it necessary. I understand that in some medical situations the staff will need to contact the emergency resource before the child's parent, physician, and or other person acting on the parent's behalf. I also understand and agree that the childs parents or legal guardians shall be responsible for any expenses incurred to take first aid or emergency measures as judged necessary for the care and protection of my child while under the supervision of the studio.

MEDIA RELEASE
I, the undersigned, do hereby consent and agree that For the Love of Dance Studio, or its agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of my child or myself to use these in any and all media, now and hereafter known. I do hereby release to For the Love of Dance Studio, and its agents all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to use its form for marketing. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my, or my child's identity or likeness in whatever media used. I understand that my, or my child's name will be kept private and not be released in any written form. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback. I represent that I am at least 18 years of age, have read and under-stand the foregoing statement, and am competent to execute this agreement.
