I understand that my child will participate in a Trial Day as part of the Oakridge Academy admissions process. This experience includes engaging, play-based activities, a brief academic assessment, social-emotional and behavioral observations, and consideration of parent input provided in the Oakridge Student Application.
These components allow the Oakridge team to develop a well-rounded understanding of each child’s creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and social development.
Oakridge Academy is designed for learners who demonstrate readiness for a learner-driven environment, typically reflecting skills and abilities at or above approximately the 60th percentile across multiple domains. We recognize that children develop at different rates, and no single task or score determines eligibility.
Admissions decisions are based on a combination of observations, rubrics, and assessments to ensure a thoughtful and holistic review process.
All information gathered during the Trial Day will be used solely for admissions consideration and to support initial planning for accepted students. All records and observations will remain confidential.
