SPEL High School Intern Application
The SPEL program is designed to enhance the skills you need to succeed in college in a fun and creative virtual environment. To be considered, please complete this application. The admission process includes a brief interview with Hola Cultura staff for selected applicants.

The spring 2026 semester will run every Tuesday, January 27 to April 28, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Eastern Time through Zoom. Selected D.C. participants will receive a $20.00 stipend per week by completing the assignments given during these sessions.

The program offers participants a sense of community on a multigenerational platform. Please note that participation is mandatory. We expect you to be fully present (Zoom, camera on) and participate actively in all the sessions (Tuesdays 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.), turn in all assignments on time, and respond to all communications.
