    Once you enter your information in the form below and select your payment method, you will be shown the dues amount and number of installments during the membership year for your employment group.

    Membership is effective immediately in accordance with the MTI Membership Policy following submission of a completed application form.

    I hereby authorize Madison Teachers Inc (MTI) to initiate monthly debit or charge entries for the payment of my annual dues via Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC). I hereby authorize said payment of my annual membership dues for the school year, and each year thereafter. A record of each transaction will appear on my monthly bank/credit card account statement and will serve as my receipt. My authorization is in full force and effective until I terminate this agreement by notifying MTI in writing in accordance with the MTI membership cancellation policy. I further agree that if a withdrawal unsuccessful due to lack of funds, a suspended account, or similar reason, neither MTI nor WEAC is responsible for any resulting overdraft fees, late fees, or other resulting charges.

  • By submitting this membership application I understand and agree that:

    1. My membership is annual and begins September 1, renewing annually thereafter.

    2. Membership dues are established according to MTI Bylaws and may change from year to year. Membership dues may increase or decrease during the year based on a job change or bargaining unit change. I will be notified in writing of such change.

    3. Membership may be cancelled at any time by providing written notification to in accordance with the MTI cancellation policy.

    4. I understand that my membership makes MTI possible and entitles me to participate in Union decisions and activities, and that as a paying member I enjoy all the rights and privileges guaranteed by the MTI Bylaws.

    5. Dues include a 5% additive to fund MTI political efforts through MTI VOTERS. For more info on MTI VOTERS, including political action rebate information, see the MTI Website.
