Thank you for participating in this year's NWIR Councils Awards. As a reminder, here is a brief summary of the awards for which your council may apply:
Community Impact - Recognizes a council's outreach to their community including community service events, fundraising and overall positive impact.
Leading the Way - This award recognizes a council's efforts in mentorship and leadership and instilling a culture of empowering and supporting fellow members throughout the year.
Emerging Excellence - This award is for new or newly re-established councils that are experiencing growth in both membership and the programs/services they offer.
Council of Distinction - This award recognizes more established councils that demonstrate excellence in all areas and consistently meet all of NWIR's pillars of networking, education, mentoring and industry recruitment.
Outstanding Event - This award will honor a council event held during the past year and included outstanding creativity, marketing, communication and/or planning by council leadership.
Educational Gold Star - An award designed to recognize a council that has provided outstanding educational or professional development opportunities for its members in in the past year.
Membership Growth - This award recognizes the council that achieved the highest percentage of growth in the third and fourth quarters of 2026. (*this is a special contest for the 2027 Awards. Future winners will be recognized for growth for a full calendar year.)
