LIABILITY CLAUSE

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I acknowledge that inherent risks, dangers, and hazards exist when taking part in physical exercise and when using Strongman implements. Participation in such activities and/or the use of equipment associated with Strongman, and all Strongman activities, may result in injury, illness, death, or damage to personal property. These risks and dangers may be caused by other participants, or by accidents, acts of nature, or other causes/ risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforseeable causes including, but not limited to: injury from slips or falls, soft tissue damage, ligament and/or muscle tears, bruising, etc.

RELEASE/WAIVER: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hidden City Fitness, the City of Vancouver, the host venue, employees, volunteers and all personnel involved from and against any and all claims for personal injuries or damages of any kind arising from participation in Vancouver's Strongest competition.

MEDIA CONSENT: By your signature, you agree that Hidden City Fitness may take photos and videos during Vancouver's Strongest competition, and use said media for social media posts.

I fully understand and acknowledge that the activities at The Hidden City Fitness Vancouver's Strongest competition involve inherent risks, dangers and hazards which may result in injury or illness. I hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Hidden City Fitness, its managers, members, and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, or otherwise that I may have, either in my own which may arise from my participation in competition and activities at this competition.
