Audition Sign- Up Form

Fill out a separate form for each dancer auditioning. PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY Dancers should wear BLACK dance attire and appropriate tights/shoes. (Ballet, jazz or half soles are appropriate, we will not need tap or sneakers) If you are not selected for a competition team this year, you will automatically be placed on the appropriate ensemble team.
All Team Auditions (Ensemble and Competition)

Monday, June 16th at the Bear Studio.

There WILL be a MANDATORY PARENT MEETING for ALL parents who may have a dancer interested in ensemble or elite. There is a high level of commitment, especially for elite, and we find that parents who do not attend this meeting tend to have more questions and confusion than those who do.

Parent meeting will be at 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm. You only need to attend ONE meeting.

Audtions for all 11 and under dancers will be from 11:00-12:00

Auditions for all 12 and over dancers will be from 2:00 - 3:00

If you are unable to attend the afternoon parent meeeting/audition - we will hold an another audition at 6:00 pm after the parent meeting.

ALL AUDITIONS ARE CLOSED TO PARENTS

The Encore Ensemble - NEW THIS YEAR will participate in the Newark Halloween Parade, the Newark Winterfest, perform at a few retirement/nursing homes, perform in the Elite Showcase in January, and compete at a local dance competition - usually in February.

The Elite Competitive Team will have 5 regional competitions, a National Competition, potential Worlds, have the opportunity to participate in a few optional competitions, and will have the opportunity to perform at the Newark Winterfest.

The Ensemble can select from Bear or Newark. Please make sure that you can commit to the location selected.

Encore Elite competitors can select from Bear, Newark, or both. We will place you where we feel you will excel.
