The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with firearm sales, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and safe environment, offering product recommendations, and completing necessary paperwork, including Form 4473. In addition to working with the best brands in the industry, you'll have access to special employee-only pricing and exclusive vendor deals!

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and build strong customer relations.
• Identify customers' needs and assist with product selection.
• Maintain knowledge of hunting and firearm products, trends and industry best practices.
• Process firearm transactions, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including Form 4473.
• Maintain a clean and organized department, including stock management and merchandising.
• Provide accurate pricing and sale information.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be 21 years or older and legally able to own and possess a firearm.
• Demonstrate passion for hunting, firearms, and the outdoor industry.
• Extensive experience and knowledge about guns (e.g., make and models of firearms and scopes, understanding the concepts and practices for hunting and related activities).
• Strong Communication skills and proficiency in reading and writing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing required paperwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Organized and proactive work ethic.
• Comfortable approaching and talking to customers.
• Problem-solving and logical decision-making mentality.
• Able to effectively work with a team.
