Please complete all 2025 Registration information to the best of your ability. You may register up to 6 children per family/household. Teens can also register to Volunteer! VBS TRUE NORTH IS A FREE COMMUNITY PROGRAM SERVING TAMPA /SOUTH BAY FAMILIES
About Vacation Bible School: UMCSCC's VBS is a great opportunity for all kids to learn about God in a fun, safe environment! This year our campers will explore the TRUE NORTH an Alaskan wilderness adventure. Our VBS campers will begin in Base Camp and trek all the way up to Denali peak- learning how to trust Jesus in a wild world filled with friendly animals, festive music, fun games, new friends + much more...

This program is FREE + open to children ages 5-12 years of age. An adult parent or guardian is required to drop off/pick up their child(ren) each weekday evening during VBS week. Adults are invited to stay for Family Dinner Hour @ the Grizzly Grill.

Details:

Ages: Kindergarten- 5th Grade/ Teens 13-17 can Volunteer

Date: Evenings July 7-11

Time: 5PM Dinner Hour in the LEC Grizzly Grill w/ Parents

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian for the first hour at Dinner, Fellowship and Glacier Game time. Parents may depart at 5:50 PM prior to VBS kick off. If you do not wish for your child to have dinner, then drop off will be 6PM in the LEC.

6PM- 8PM VBS KIDS ONLY Program begins in Creason Hall

Includes Music, Dancing, Bible Adventures, Imagination Station and More! (Parents will depart and Youth Volunteers will lead small groups of VBS participants through a wild wilderness adventure. Parent pick up time is 8:00 PM in Creason Hall)

CONSENT FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT:

As the parent or legal guardian of the above-named minor participant(s), I hereby give my consent for emergency medical care as necessary and prescribed by a duly licensed Doctor. This care may be given under whatever conditions are necessary to preserve the life, limb, or well-being of my dependent in the event my dependent is transported by EMS to a hospital during any part of VBS programming provided by UMC Sun City Center.

EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION LIABILITY WAIVER:

As the parent or legal guardian of the above-named minor participant(s), I hereby give my consent to the staff of UMC Sun City Center to provide permission to EMS personnel to transport my dependent, should a medical emergency necessitate an emergency room visit during their participation in VBS.

As the parent or legal guardian of the above-named participant(s), I hereby give my consent to staff and volunteers of UMC Sun City Center to photograph him/her in while partaking in VBS programming. Photos may be used for the purpose of Parent/Guardian communication, archives, documentation of injury, publication to the Church newsletter, promotion of programs, or for print and display inside the Church. Personal, identifying information such as names, ages, etc. will not be posted internally or for external publications.
