Participation & Image Waiver Release Form

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE CONTENTS OF THIS FORM BEFORE SIGNING.

By participating in animal, sensory, and nature activities at WeeShire Mains (“Activities”), I acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved, including injury, illness, property damage, or death. I confirm that I and/or my minor child are healthy, able, and voluntarily choosing to participate. If conditions ever feel unsafe, we will stop participation immediately.

Waiver of Liability
On behalf of myself and my minor child, I release and hold harmless WeeShire Mains, its owners, staff, volunteers, affiliates, and partners ("Releasees") from all liability, claims, or demands arising from our participation, except in cases of their gross negligence or intentional harm. I accept full responsibility for injuries resulting from my own or my child’s actions.

Assumption of Risk
I understand that interacting with animals, using equipment, and participating in outdoor activities involves both expected and unexpected risks. These include, but are not limited to, bites, scratches, falls, exposure to bacteria, equipment malfunction, and accidents. Animals may behave unpredictably, even when calm. I accept all risks associated with my or my child’s participation.

Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and defend the Releasees from any claims related to my or my minor child’s participation, including attorney fees, unless caused by their negligence or intentional misconduct.

Medical Responsibility
I understand I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred due to injuries or health issues during Activities. I confirm I have adequate insurance or will personally cover related costs.

Governing Law & Severability
This agreement is governed by Nebraska law. Any legal action must be filed in Nebraska. If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest shall remain in full force and effect.

If the minor child(ren) listed on this form will be attending the event under the supervision of an adult who is NOT their parent or legal guardian (e.g., a teacher, grandparent, friend), please be aware that each supervising adult must complete and sign their own separate WeeShire Mains Participation and Image Waiver and Release form. This separate form is for the supervising adult's acknowledgment of risk and their own image consent. They will not need to list the children they are supervising on their individual form.

Please ensure that all supervising adults accompanying your child(ren) complete this separate waiver prior to the event. You are responsible for informing them of this requirement.

Photo and Media Release

For the safety and well-being of our animals, and to capture farm experiences, WeeShire Mains utilizes security cameras in certain areas and staff may take photographs and short video clips during visits.

Please be aware that members of the public may also take photographs or videos and share them on platforms over which WeeShire Mains has no control.

The following permission pertains only to WeeShire Mains' potential use of photos and videos captured by our staff for promotional purposes on our social media channels and potentially our website. We aim to use general shots of the farm and activities, and typically do not share names or other directly identifying information of individual visitors in these posts.
