Application for recognition of an Auckland Northland Record
All Swimming Auckland Northland record applications must comply with Swimming Auckland Northland and Swimming New Zealand Meet Conditions and Rules.

The following meets are processed by Swimming Auckland Northland for our region's swimmers and do not require a record application:
- A meet hosted within the Auckland Northland region
- A Swimming New Zealand hosted meet
- A meet at which the swimmer is competing on an official regional or national team
If you are unsure whether the meet falls under these categories, please complete this form.

Where records are established outside of the above categories, applications for recognition must be made within one calendar month of the event and must include a verified copy of the results, with a signature, as detailed below.

Competition Details
Auckland Records will only be accepted when times are recorded by Electronic Timing, or Semi-Electronic Timing in the event of an Electronic Timing system malfunction and shall be recognised to 100th (one hundredth) of a second, in a surveyed still water swimming pool.

We cannot validate a record time that has been swum in a mixed gender event.

Applications for records can only be considered from meets that have been approved in accordance with SNZ and World Aquatic rules.

Evidence/Documentation
For a record to be approved, we require two things.

1. Evidentiary Documentation - one of the following:
- A verified copy of the timing tapes
- A verified copy of results
The evidentiary files can be uploaded below, or emailed to admin@swimmingauckland.org

2. A signature - from one of the following meet personnel:
- Chief Timekeeper
- Referee
- Technical Director
- AOD Room Supervisor
We will accept a digital signature below, or a manual signature on any of the uploaded evidentiary documents.

The following will NOT be considered as official record documentation:
- A screenshot of a live timing application or website
- A picture of the scoreboard
- Any result documentation not generated from the official timing software
If we don't receive evidentiary documents via the file upload below, or via email, no further action can be taken.
