Sunnyhill Church is leading a trip to Târgu Jiu, Romania, to partner once again with our amazing friends at The Way Church (led by Gabi & Ana) — and this time they’re opening up the trip to the ACUK. You’re invited to be part of the adventure! This is more than a trip — it’s a chance to step into God’s mission in a powerful and practical way.
The Plan
We’ll fly from Luton to Craiova, then journey deep into Romania by minibus to a beautiful town surrounded by mountains and full of spiritual hunger.Over four packed days, you’ll be rolling up your sleeves to:Share the gospel through outdoor evangelism, Help lead discipleship groups (women, men, youth & children, Support local outreach and practical ministry projects, Encourage and strengthen the local church, Serve and worship alongside a passionate faith family. We’ll stay in a local guesthouse, start each day with prayer and preparation, and be ready for God to move in unexpected ways.This is an unforgettable opportunity to grow in faith, be stretched outside your comfort zone, and make a real difference in another part of the world. It’s also a chance to deepen friendships, experience another culture, and see the global church in action.Flexibility and a heart to serve are key — but no special experience is needed. Just come with a willing spirit!
The Cost
Participants cover their flights (£150 approx). We’ll raise additional funds together as a team. Pre-trip prep via Zoom for planning & prayer
