Fall 2025 School Opera House Tour and Resident Artists Performance Request
Treat your students to a tour of our historic Opera House followed by a performance by our Resident Opera Artists.

Explore our historic Opera House and experience the thrill of standing on the opera stage! Through an interactive tour will highlighting the history of the Opera House, its connection to Sarasota and the many careers involved in creating opera, your student will gain and understanding of the importance of the arts in the Sarasota region. Tours include visits to the backstage area, the scenic, costume, and prop shops as well as Q&A sessions.

The tour will culminate in a performance of opera excerpts by our professional Resident Opera Artists.This will let them experience, firsthand and up close, the magic and power of the operatic voice, as the singers share excerpts from various operas. They will also answer questions your students may have about opera and all that goes into establishing and maintaining their careers.

This offer is available for grades 4 and up.

NOTE: This offering has limited availabilty as we need to book around the performances and rehearsals on stage.
