Area Leaders oversee assistants and volunteers in specific parts of Ghoulash. Read each description carefully before making your selection.
Activities Manager
Leads the planning and coordination of all activity areas, including games, inflatables, crafts, and Trick-or-Treater experiences. Responsible for creating and organizing game ideas, overseeing setup and breakdown, and ensuring activity areas run smoothly and safely during the event.
Best for: Someone energetic, organized, creative, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Costume Contest Manager
Leads the costume contest from start to finish. Responsibilities include finding judges, securing prizes, and keeping the contest organized and fun.
Best for: Someone organized, confident speaking in front of groups, and comfortable leading high-energy activities.

Assistants must attend all staff meetings. Advisor meetings are optional.
Activities Assistant
Supports the Activities Manager by assisting with games, inflatables, crafts, setup, cleanup, and overall activity operations. Assists with Trick-or-Treater placement and engagement activities throughout the event.
Best for: Someone adaptable, helpful, team-oriented, and comfortable working in active environments.
Community Liaison (Activities Assistant)
Supports the Activities Manager by assisting with games, inflatables, crafts, setup, cleanup, and overall activity operations. Leads community survey efforts, helps coordinate outreach to community groups and participants, and engagement activities throughout the event.
Best for: Someone outgoing, helpful, team-oriented, and comfortable working in active environments.
Costume Contest Assistant
Supports the Contest Manager with judge coordination, prize prep, contestant check-in, and contest logistics.
