  • Need-Based Scholarship Writing Prompt

Pursuing a college education as a low-income or first-generation student is itself an act of resistance. Reflect on a time when you encountered a financial or systemic barrier to education. What did it reveal about broader inequalities in access and opportunity? How do you plan to use your education to create more equitable systems for others facing similar challenges? Be specific about your goals and strategies for driving long-term change.
