Overview:
This one-day micro-internship, held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offers high school students an inside look at the exciting world of the Kentucky Derby Museum. Participants will shadow professionals in the Education Department and gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of educational programming in a museum setting.

Learning Objectives:
- Gain hands-on experience assisting with a student field trip
- Explore career paths in education, teaching, museum work, and related fields
- Develop real-world skills in communication, leadership, and public engagement

Application Process:
High school students interested in participating must submit a completed application, signed by a parent or guardian.
Application Deadline: Applications are due one week prior to the selected internship date.
Available Dates: Summer and Fall sessions currently open.
