    Presentation Proposal
  • Thank you for your interest in presenting at the upcoming Voices Restored Conference!

    Please review the following timeline and proposal requirements, provide your contact information and upload your proposal.

  • Proposal Due Date: June 23, 2025 by 11:30 pm 
    Review: June 24 – July 7, 2025 
    Notification of Acceptance will be sent by: July 8, 2025 

  • Proposal Requirements:

    • Please upload your proposal in one of the following formats: Word Document, PDF, PNG, or JPEG.  
    • Please include the following at the top of your proposal: 
      • Session Title: A clear and engaging title that reflects the topic of the presentation and will be used in conference materials, if selected. 
      • Presenter Name(s) and Contact Information: Include full names, job titles, organizations, and email addresses for all proposed presenters. 
      • Presenter Bio(s): A brief (2–4 sentences) bio for each presenter, highlighting relevant experience or expertise. This may be used in conference materials.  
    • The content of your proposal must include the following:  
      • Session Abstract: A concise (150–250 word) abstract of the session content, including key topics and talking points. This may be used in conference materials. 
      • Learning Objectives: List 2–3 specific, measurable takeaways for participants (e.g., "Participants will be able to identify key warning signs of strangulation..."). 
      • Target Audience: Briefly describe who would benefit most from attending your session (e.g., advocates, law enforcement, medical professionals, educators, etc.). 
      • Session Format: Indicate if your session will be lecture-style, an interactive workshop, a panel discussion, a case study, etc. 
      • Technology and Room Needs: Include any equipment or setup required (e.g., projector, microphone, Wi-Fi Access).
    • Your proposal may include the following items, but is not required:
      • Accessibility Accommodations (Optional): Let us know if we can provide any accommodation to allow you to best present the material.
      • Prior Presentation Experience (Optional): You may briefly list any relevant experience delivering training or workshops.
      • Supporting Materials (Optional): If desired, please attach a sample agenda, slides, handouts, or videos of previous presentations.
