The R.I.S.E. Up Scholarship was created in honor of Miss Highland Park’s Teen, Sophia-Rose Centurioni. Her Community Service Initiative, R.I.S.E, supports teen survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence who are bravely rising above their circumstances.
This scholarship will be awarded to a Miss Texas Teen contestant who has demonstrated extraordinary Resilience, Inspiration, Support, and Empowerment—the four pillars of Centurioni’s initiative, R.I.S.E. Whether through sharing their story, supporting others, or simply showing up with strength and grace, the recipient will embody the spirit of rising through adversity. This scholarship is more than financial support—it’s a reminder that your voice matters, your healing matters, and your future is worth investing in.
