Mind-Builders Dance Merit Auditions

Merit Scholarships offer discounted tuition (up to 100%), intensive training, and exciting performance opportunities for dedicated dancers.
Audition Dates:
Thurs, September 18 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Sat, September 20 | 1:00 - 3:00PM - CANCELED
All auditions are held at Mind-Builders: 3415 Olinville Ave, Bronx, NY 10467

Eligibility:
Ages 10–17 (Grades 5–11 by Sept 2025)
At least 2 years of dance training
Open to new and returning students
Priority given to NYC and Bronx-based students

Audition Info:
Plan to stay the full 2 hours
Wear a leotard & tights or fitted tee & leggings
Bring ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and sneakers

What to Expect:
After a warm-up, dancers will learn and perform 2–3 combinations in styles like Ballet, Hip Hop, African, Modern, or Contemporary. You'll be assessed on how quickly you learn and how fully you perform.

All dancers must audition to be considered.
Results shared within 2–3 weeks.
