Volunteer Application Form
Grange Pavilion is a thriving and welcoming community centre in the heart of Grangetown. Volunteers are essential to the running of Grange Pavilion and help us offer activities and services that we otherwise wouldn’t be able to. Volunteers are fantastic sources of inspiration, providing ideas on what the Pavilion should be doing and offering. Grange Pavilion is a community run building, so it must reflect the needs of the community – that’s you!
What to expect
This application will ask for some basic information including your name, address and contact details. We’ll also ask for two references that we can contact, these should be people who are not relatives but have known you for at least two years within the last five years. It also asks about your skills and what you can bring to the Pavilion, as well as what you’d like to learn. Once you have completed this application form, the team will review your application, and you might be invited for a chat with the Pavilion Manager or Assistant Manager – this is to understand what you hope to gain from volunteering and your skills. We’ll then contact your references and process a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (if needed) so you can get started. Please note that the information provided will be used to match potential volunteers to the most appropriate roles available at the time of application to volunteer at Grange Pavilion.
