Event Overview:

The American Cancer Society’s 2025 Lee County Cattle Baron’s Ball promises to be a toe-tapping, knee-slapping good time as you give back to our community and the American Cancer Society. Held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, this one-of-a-kind evening – celebrating 21 years in Lee County – features great food and drink, dancing, axes, bulls, a spectacular auction, and much more.

Evening Details:

Volunteer Timing: 4:00 – 11:30 pm

Theme: Country-western Gala

Attire: A t-shirt will be provided; pair with skirt or pant as well as any cowboy boots, hats, or any country flair! Denim jackets/dresses are also okay, but please no blue jeans (black or white jeans are acceptable). We recommend you wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

Parking: Complimentary self-parking at the Hyatt is available; valet is available for a fee.

Food: Dinner will be provided.

Registration, Check-in & Check-out (Check in guests, assist guests through the registration process, answer questions, and report on any issues. Operate software to keep the live and silent auctions updated throughout the evening. At the end of the night, compute purchases for winning bidders.) Qualifications: Computer skills, database software experience preferred, but not required. A fun upbeat attitude with a winning smile and strong organizational skills.
Revenue Enhancers (Engage guests and explain the exciting opportunities at the event.) Qualifications: A good eye, a clear voice, great people skills and comfortable approaching guests.
Live Auction and Paddle Raise Spotters (Jump into the action during our exciting live auction by assisting the auctioneer with spotting bids.) Qualifications: A good eye, a clear voice, great people skills and comfortable approaching guests.
