Experimental Plan

Include sample description, any pre-treatmentor in situ processes, and whether the sample needs to be handled under inertatmosphere. Detail number of samples and measurement conditions. Note that thereare two standard seals for different temperature ranges. Indium seals aresuitable for measurements in the range 0-373 K. Viton O-rings are suitable for253-550 K.

Sample Characteristics

Please outline the results of any characterisation already undertaken, There is an optional sheet at the end of the proposal form so figures can be appended. Note that experiments may be carried out in sealed thin-walled aluminium containers. Boiling, desorption etc. can lead to explosions and radioactive contamination of the instrument. Please provide information on any phase transitions, desorption temperatures or reactions that may generate pressure in the temperature range 4-550 K. Your experiment may be run with others that require different temperatures in a sample changer. Please describe under what conditions your sample may be damaged and if you require the sample to be returned (after sufficient time for radioactive decay).0/250
