United Way relies on our dedicated volunteers to review, recommend, and prioritize funding based on community need. We have four opportunities for volunteers that are interested in reviewing applications for funding.
This is not a sign up form or committement. If you express interest in a certain role UWSECT staff will reach out to you when sign-ups begin.
- Partner Program Review: Volunteers review applications, visit applicant program sites, and make group decisions on where grant funds are allocated. This opportunity requires a committment of approximately 40 hours of volunteer time over 13 weeks. Starting February 2026 and ending in May 2026. Volunteers must be available on the same day and time once a week during that timeframe.
- Partner Program Financial Review: Volunteers assess financial records on an annual basis of funded partners, typically during the months of February and March. Expertise and knowledge of financial reports is required.
