Expectations for Service and Repair of Your Solar Electric System:

You can expect between one to three hours of diagnostic time, with the majority of the time spent on the phone troubleshooting the issue with the vendor. It is not uncommon for the average cost of a service call to be priced more than $500.00.

Service Call Pricing:

A diagnostic of your system prior to correction includes:
- $150 Mobilization Fee (up to 30 miles from our office then $2/mi)
- Diagnostic Time:
  - On-site Troubleshooting: $150/hr (charged in 15-min increments) for main electrician; $75/hr (charged in 15-min increments) for helper, if required for job; all roof work will require two technicians for safety reasons
  - Phone Troubleshooting with Vendor: $75/hr billed in 15-min increments
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE END OF EACH VISIT.

An example of the pricing of a typical service call:
Mobilization Fee: $150
Two hours of on-site diagnostic time: $300
Total Cost: $450.00 + mileage if applicable

If a Second Trip is Needed:

This usually occurs if a problem is found and your equipment is under warranty. The manufacturer ships out a replacement, and we have to make a second trip back out to replace the equipment. The pricing for a second trip is as follows:
- $150 Mobilization Fee (up to 30 miles from our office then $2/mi)
- Repairs: $150/hr (charged in 15-min increments) for main electrician; $75/hr (charged in 15-min increments) for helper, if required for job; all roof work will require two technicians for safety reasons
