  • The Black Night Market is collaborating with Friends of the Waterfront Park in Seattle WA, for BNM on Pier 62 on Friday June 13, 3:30–9:30 pm and 
    Friday June 20, 5 –9:30 pm

    Event Details:


    The market will take place on the waterfront in Seattle on Pier 62. Vendors can drive up to and onto the Pier to load in and out and a parking lot nearby will be available for vendors to use.

    We welcome ALL kinds of vendors offering; art, handmade items, book writers, artisan, food, drinks, craft makers, clothings, candles, jewelry,  etc. 

    Please note: the vendor fees for this event is higher than our Tacoma markets, due to Seattles event, licensings, permits and FTWP fees. 

    ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A WA STATE BUSINESS LICENSE: 

    LLC // Sole Proprietor to participatre in this event. 

    Each vendor spot includes a 10x10 space, canopies and weights are required.

    • Nonprofit Organizations $110/day  (must provide proof of 501(c)(3))
    • Art // vendors selling products $210/day
    • Cold food / prepackaged desserts : $210/day
    • Hot Food // Food Trucks: $270/day

    1. The Deadline for payments is 5 days before the event date, all who pay after this day is required to pay an additional $15 due to Friends of The Waterfront agreement. 

    2. All Food Vendors must adhere to Seattles / King Counties / WA STATE Health Depearment rules and guidelines. 


    Please note: Tables, chairs, and other equipment are not provided. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own setup materials.


    Electricity is limited and will be prioritized for:

    • Hot food vendors / Trucks 
    • LIVE PERFORMANCE, STAGE & AUDIO

    Event Vendor details:

    Setup Time: Vendors set up 2 hours before the event opens at 3:30 PM. Vendors must be set up by 3 PM. 


    Check-in Deadline: Vendors must check in 45 minutes before the event begins.

    Late arrivals will not be checked in and are'nt allowed to set up, so plan ahead!
    More detailed load-in instructions and setup information will be sent via email to secured vendors on the MONDAY of the event week.

  • Please read the following, this information is important as we obtain day permits for all of our vendors via the Tacoma Fire Department and Tacoma Tax & Business License. 

    This means, if you don't have the appropriate licenses there will be an additional $10 charge to your vendor fee. 

  • You must provide PROOF by giving us your Tacoma Business License number and UBI number for your WA state business license numbers.

    If you don't enter these numbers your application will be denied.

    We're no longer accepting vendors without this information. 

     

    Tacoma Business License # start with 500-000-000

    WA STATE BUSINESS UBI # starts with 600-000-000

     

    If you dont have these licenses, enter the numbers above.

  • House Rules

  • These rules apply to all vendors unless stated otherwise.

    1. Vendor Space: Each vendor is provided a 10x10 space outdoors. Canopies and weights are required. 
    2. Load-In Location: Vendors may load in near and on the Pier 62. 
    3. Setup Time: Vendors have 2 hours to set up, beginning at 12 p.m. Please plan ahead to ensure you arrive and are ready on time.
    4. Check-In Deadline: All vendors must be checked in/ set up by 2:45 AM. Late arrivals or no-shows will not be refunded.
    5. Creative Freedom: Feel free to set up your space creatively and make it uniquely yours!
    6. Clean-Up Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for keeping their area clean and tidy throughout the event. This includes; picking up trash, cleaning up your spills and ensuring no damage is left behind. 
    7. Post-Event Clean-Up: Please leave your space as you found it by cleaning up after yourself at the end of the event.
    8. Provide your own equipment: We do not provide tables, chairs, canopies or weights for your booth. All vendors are required to bring their own equipment to set up shop. 
    9. Customer Service: All vendors are required to offer great customer service and proffessionalism. If reported otherwise, FTWP // BNM will escort you off the premises and ban you from future Pier 62 market collaborations. 
    10. Comply to laws, rules and regulations: All vendors are required to follow laws, rules and regulations of Seattle WA, Friends of The Waterfront and Black Night Market.

  • Sustainability Commitment – Required Reading for All Vendors
     

    As part of our partnership with Friends of Waterfront Park, Black Night Market is committed to promoting environmentally responsible business practices. While these are not strict mandates, we strongly encourage all participating vendors to help us create a more sustainable market experience.

    Please review the following eco-friendly guidelines and do your best to comply:

    Preferred Practices:

    • Limit single-use plastics. Please avoid plastic bags, straws, wrappers, or containers when possible.
    • Use sustainable packaging. Opt for materials that are reusable, recyclable, or compostable.
    • Reduce waste. Consider bulk refills, reusable containers, or offering a discount for customers who bring their own.
    • Eco-conscious displays. Use natural or recycled materials for signage, booths, and decor.
    • Support sustainable sourcing. Local, organic, and ethically made products are strongly encouraged.

     

    NOTE: Vendors may be asked to provide information about their product sourcing or packaging practices upon request by BNM or Friends of Waterfront Park.

  • Our vendor fees are NON- REFUNDABLE and NON - TRANSFERRABLE.

    Important details:

    ALL FOOD VENDORS (cold + HOT + TRUCKS) Must obtain a temporary food booth permit or must be a verified food business in King County.

  • NO REFUND POLICY

    PLEASE NOTE: The vendor fee is non refundable. Your payment goes directly to venue fees, that being said we do not send out refunds under any circumstances.

    This means the following 1-6. 

    1. Set up time is always 2 hours before doors open and vendors must be checked in 45 minutes before we open. 

    2. SHOW UP ON TIME! If you show up past 11:45 am you will not be allowed to set up and you will not get a refund.
    3.PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES! If you go against any of the rules, you will be asked to leave and you will not get a refund.
    4. If you pull out of the event within 7 days before the market, you will not get a refund or transfer. 
    5. If you pull out of the event 1-2 days before the market you will not get a refund.
    6. If we, the Black Night Market cancels the event under any circumstance we will send you a refund or transfer your date.

     

  • Once your payment is submitted, your spot as a vendor is secured unless otherwise specified. By securing your spot, you agree to commit to the event and comply with all outlined rules and policies.

    Estimated Sales Reporting – Required for All Vendors
    As part of our agreement with Friends of Waterfront Park, Black Night Market is required to track and report total estimated gross sales from each vendor per event.

    To comply with this, all vendors must provide a good-faith estimate of total sales at the end of each market day.

    By participating, you agree to:

    • Report your total gross sales (before expenses) to Black Night Market within 24 hours of each event.
    • Understand that this data is used for grant reporting and will not affect your booth fee or result in additional charges.
    • Be as accurate as possible — no itemized receipts are required, just a total number.


    End-of-Day Reporting Options:

    • You will receive a text/email reminder with a link to submit your sales estimate.
    • Or, you may report your total sales in person before breakdown at the BNM info booth.

    Promoting the event is a collective effort—it takes ALL OF US to ensure a busy and successful market! While the Black Night Market will actively promote the event, we also require all vendors to share the flyer and event details with their networks.

    It’s important for your audience to know where they can support you. While we are not obligated to promote individual vendors, we do offer FREE marketing support for those who are interested.
