  • Are you willing to complete a pre-assignment drug screening?*
  • Are you willing to participate in a medical physical required annually for volunteer firefighters?*

  • Availability

  • Please select your availability to respond to fire calls for the given days and time phases*
  • Do you have a reliable means of transportation?*
  • If your application is accepted by the 96 Fire Department, will you be available to attend regular weekly Monday or Tuesday night trainings (approximately 7:00PM to 9:00PM)?*
  • Do you understand that in order to be available for emergency calls, you must be able to arrive at the fire station promptly and not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol?*
  • Are you willing and able to retain and wear a fire pager to respond to emergencies? *
  • Are you willing to participate in the SC Fire Academy training classes as required by department?*
