• Applicants must be K–12 teachers or fiber arts volunteers in Alaska, using the grant to cover costs for a fiber arts unit during the school year or after-school program. End products should be entered in a local Alaska State Fair and presented at a Valley Quilters Guild meeting by the following July, or submitted as a report with photos/video. The project’s outcome belongs to the applicant/students. Incomplete projects require grant repayment. Funds go directly to the applicant or school.

  • I understand that if I am selected, I must show my finished product to the Valley Quilters’ Guild at a meeting. or, if I am unable to attend, I must provide a written report with pictures. Pictures of projects but not students may be posted on the Guild website or on social media.
