Scholarship Qualifications & About: 

The Future Healers Visionary Scholarship is awarded to a Texas teen who demonstrates exceptional passion, leadership, and potential in the fields of science or medicine. This scholarship recognizes young teen who are committed to making a meaningful impact in healthcare, research, or scientific innovation. Whether through academic excellence, volunteer work, or creative initiatives, applicants must embody the spirit of curiosity, compassion, and dedication to improving lives through science and medicine.

Application Requirements

Eligibility Requirements:

Female student currently residing in Texas
Ages 14–18 and enrolled in high school
Demonstrated interest in science or medicine (e.g., coursework, extracurriculars, research, volunteering, internships)
Minimum GPA of 3.5 and above
Participation in community service or health-related advocacy is a must.

Please submit a personal essay (500–750 words) in PDF format on your vision for the future of healthcare or science and your role in it.  Please also submit a resume or other documentation of any internships, extracurricular activites, volunteer hours, etc pertaining to your interest in healthcare.  All documents should be in PDF format and submitted through the link below.
