In Loving Memory of a Devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Pageant Volunteer

The Sandra Malone Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the beautiful legacy of Sandra Malone—a loving mother and proud grandmother, passionate pageant supporter, and dedicated volunteer for the Miss Texas Organization at both local and state levels.

Sandra found immense joy in supporting Melissa throughout her pageant journey and remained deeply involved long after her daughter’s time on stage. She continued to serve the pageant community by actively working fundraisers, offering support and encouragement to contestants, and being a steady, uplifting presence at Miss and Teen Texas Pageants.

Sandra was known for her warmth, generosity, and genuine care for the young women in the program. Whether cheering from the audience or lending a helping hand behind the scenes, she made everyone feel seen, valued, and encouraged.

This scholarship is awarded to a contestant who embodies Sandra’s spirit—someone who leads with kindness, supports others with heart, gives back through service, and carries herself with the same grace and generosity Sandra shared so freely.

Through this scholarship, Sandra Malone’s legacy continues to shine, inspiring young women to lift each other up and pursue their dreams with confidence and compassion.
