Thank you for your interest in the Kentucky Architectural Foundation Scholarship! You are applying for $1,000 toward your expenses and distributed directly to the college in the Fall semester. You may only submit one application. You must be a current Kentucky college attendee or high school student enrolling in Kentucky accredited college/university in the Fall 2026 semester, and resident of Kentucky. It is required that you have a declared major with built environment focus such as architecture/architectural technology, planning and design. By submitting an application, you are not guaranteed an award.

(Approximately 150 words) Choose one question below as a guide to writing your essay. 1- What influenced you to want to become an architect? 2- Describe a situation in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time. 3- Describe your community needs, and if you were given the task to address a need of your community, what does that dream project look like?*
