    Apollinaire Play Lab

  • Performance Project ages 6-9

    Does your child love to perform, play pretend, or take center stage? Sign them up for an exciting summer theatre adventure with Apollinaire Play Lab! This performance project is specially designed for young actors ages 6–9, and will culminate in a production of "It's Elementary" at Apollinaire Theatre's Festival this September—a celebration that will take place throughout the Chelsea Theatre Works and Chelsea Square. The Festival will feature performances, workshops, and more for all ages as well as local food and artisan vendors. Space is limited—come play, perform, and shine on stage with us!

  • 📅 Classes Begin: Week of July 14🕕 Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30–8:00 PM, Dress Rehearsal: September 19, possible rehearsals added to combine both age groups before the Festival

  • 💲 Cost: $395, $295 to add siblings (Discounted to $95 and $60 for siblings for families with WIC, EBT, or ConnectorCare. Scholarships and payment plans available.)

    Calling all aspiring actors! Apollinaire Play Lab is holding AUDITIONS for youth ages 10–14 to be a part of our summer Performance Project which will culminate in a production of "It's Elementary" at Apollinaire Theatre Company's Fall Festival! Whether you're new to theatre or already love the spotlight, this project will challenge and inspire with acting, character development, and ensemble work. (Scholarships and payment plans available.)

  • 📅 Classes Begin: Week of July 14🕕 Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30–8:30 PM, dress rehearsal September 19, possible addition of rehearsals leading up to the performance 🎭 Performance Weekend: September 20–21

  • 💲 Cost: $475, $375 to add siblings, (Discounted to $95 and $60 for siblings for families with WIC, EBT, or ConnectorCare.) Scholarships and payment plans available.THE COST TO AUDITION IS $50 WHICH WILL BE APPLIED TO THE FULL COST ONCE ACCEPTED INTO THE PROJECT. If we don't have a space for you in the program, the $50 will be refunded.

              For families requesting scholarship without an EBT card.

            • Once your application has been reviewed, we will contact you to confirm the scholarship amount that has been approved and to arrange for payment.

              To confirm your spot in the program, an Apollinaire Play Lab staff member will be in touch to take payment via phone or at the Riseman Family Theatre in person, and to map out your payment plan.

               

            • Program Expectations & Release Form

            • Photo/Video Release:

              Occasionally, we take photographs or videos of students during classes and performances at Apollinaire Play Lab. We may use these images/videos in print publications that we produce, promotional videos, as well as on our website, or on display boards at the studio. Images may also be used for newspaper advertisements or press releases. We will not use personal details of any person in a photographic image without prior specific permission not covered by this consent form. By submitting this form you consent to use of photographic images and video.

            • Covid Safety

              Currently, masks are not required. If your child is presenting with any symptoms, please keep them home. If your child presents with symptoms during class we will call to have them picked up. Classes missed due to illness are not counted as absences.

            • Illness:  

              If a child should become ill while attending the program, the parent or designated emergency contact will be notified immediately.  It remains the responsibility of the parent to provide transportation for the child. 

            • Accident:  

              In case of accident I agree to hold TheatreZone, Inc. dba Apollinaire Theatre Company and Apollinaire Play Lab and its instructors blameless and to refrain from legal action.

            • Further, I hold TheatreZone, Inc. dba Apollinaire Theatre Company and Apollinaire Play Lab and its employees in no way liable for any damage sustained to my child or his/her property while participating in the Apollinaire Play Lab Program.
