Collaboration is an important element of the First Year of the Songwriting Workshop. Those who apply as composer and lyricist are often asked to focus on one or the other for the first year of the workshop.

The songs should demonstrate variety: preferably one up-tempo song, one comedy song and one ballad.

Please submit scores for three songs. (Piano/Vocal scores are preferred, but lead sheets are acceptable. If the songs have lyrics, make sure the lyrics are included.)
