Ashburn Village Invasives Removal Team Workday at Pavilion Lake

Come out and socialize with your fellow residents, get some exercise, and make a difference in Ashburn Village at the third invasive plant removal event. Learn how to identify and remove Bush/Amur Honeysuckle and improve the natural habitat around Pavilion Lake.

When: Saturday, May 24: 9AM - 12PM

Where: Meet at Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion parking lot.

What to bring: Hand pruners, loppers, pruning saws if you have them. Not required. Participants may work with herbicides (applied via daubers), so personal protective equipment (safety glasses and nitrile gloves) will be provided. Also, you must wear a hat, long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Sunglasses and gardening/work gloves will be useful.
