    Shore4wheelers 4wd Club are hosting the FORCE4 Pairs Winch Challenge 2025 at Possum Palace over the weekend of the 13/14th September 2025 
  • Details are as follows;

    2 Trucks per Team 
    Entry fee of $300 per Team 
    All drivers must be NZFWDA affiliated
    This is a non-spectator event 
    Camping on-site, showers and toilets provided 
    All day food for competitors 
    Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings 
     Event Schedule

    Friday 12th September

    • Arrive anytime  

    • Scrutineering of competition vehicles 5-6pm


    Saturday 13th September

     • Scrutineering of competition vehicles not done Friday must be done before any stages are issued to your team 

    • Drivers Brief 8:00am at the main entry

    • First stage issued at briefing

    • Last stage issued for the night at 8.30pm


     Sunday 14th September

    Drivers brief 8am at the hub
    First stage issued at briefing
    Last stage issued 12.00pm, this stage will have a 30min DNF time
    Prize giving at 1:30pm

    Team Requirements 

    All Teams must meet the following criteria:

    2 trucks per team 
    Pillar less / soft covered trucks must have a roll cage/bar 
    Trucks must have a roof over at least the driver & passenger. It is recommended that trucks also have a roll cage, but not compulsory
    Helmets are compulsory,  helmets must have a face lens or goggles 
    There is a minimum tire size of 31” @ 30psi and a maximum tire size of 37” @ 30psi 
     Each team must have a minimum of 1 ground anchor (compulsory) 
     Trucks do not need to have a registration or WOF but will need to pass event scrutineering. 
     Normal Club Safety requirements apply i.e. Fire extinguisher, snatch straps, winch,  front & rear recovery hooks, PRS radio, seatbelts and first aid kit

     

    Competition Rules 

     No Alcohol to be consumed during competing hours. No alcohol to be consumed out of the campsite area. 
    Teams receive 10 pts for each Truck that completes the given stage 
    There are 10 “podium tracks” that need to be completed (or the team that completes the most of these tracks) to win this event
    Incomplete Teams can complete stages 
    Teams only get one attempt at each stage 
    Safe winch / recovery practice must be observed at all times. Failure to do so could result in stage and/or competition disqualification 
    20km speed limit on all access ways. No wheel spin policy applies.
    Organizers have the final ruling on all points disputes and/or disqualification.

    DANGEROUS DRIVING / TRAFFIC OFFENCE WILL RESULT IN INSTANT DISQUALIFICATOIN
