• Welcome to Giving Canvas

  • The Giving Canvas supports donors to build a strategic framework to guide their impact.

This is the first step towards clarifying your vision for impact.

We use an international best practice framework, developed in consultation with Giving Connect, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation called the Periodic Table of Philanthropy.

    Your information and its use
Your information will only be accessed by your Giving Advisor .

It will be used for the purpose of understanding your intended impact and if appropriate, tailoring a Giving Strategy workshop to guide you in implementing your vision.

Your information may also be used to guide further development and sector insights. In the event your responses are used, all data is de-indentified and remains anonymous.

  • Understanding your Giving - Introducing the Periodic Table of Philanthropy

  • The Periodic Table of Philanthropy is a conceptual framework developed by Giving Connect and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation in strategic alliance with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors.

The table organises the many elements of giving into a structured, accessible format, much like the scientific periodic table. It has been used to facilitate over $50 million in philanthropic gifts between donors and their non profit partners.

This visual tool is designed to help individuals and organisations navigate the complex landscape of philanthropy by clearly categorising pathways to impact and supporting philanthropy to compound its impact through meaningful partnerships.

  • Preparing your Giving Canvas

  • Thank you for reviewing the Periodic Table of Philanthropy.

The next step in this brief questionnaire is to respond to some questions that will seek to provide clarity, foster strategic thinking, and highlight the relationships between different forms of giving and social change.

Your answers will be captured in a Giving Canvas, which is intended to act as both a map and a guide, enabling more intentional, informed, and effective philanthropic decisions.

Your Giving Canvas will be sent directly to you at the conclusion of the following questions.
