Barastoc 2026 Breed & Club Society EOI

Please join us for the 2026 Barastoc Horse of the Year at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre.

Dates: February 6th - 8th 2026 

Breed Rings will primarily be held on Saturday 7th February 2026

For 2026, the daily rate for ring hire will remain $400 (per day/per ring) plus GST (if applicable.).

To confirm your interest in attending, a $100 (incl. GST) deposit will be requested at the bottom of this form. This $100 (incl. GST) deposit is refundable if the event does not proceed.

Ring layouts will be allocated before the event and emailed through to the participating societies closer to the date. 

Programs can be shared on our Barastoc HOTY website. So, if you have an event program that you would like us to share, please email that through to suemckay@equestrianvictoria.com.au.

Equestrian Victoria will provide:

• Ring Hire
• Opportunity to compete in the Supreme led on Saturday, 7th of February.
• A 3m x 3m marquee, table, and chairs for your ring.
• Opportunity for announcements through main arena commentary.
• Extra toilets, food vans, first aid.
• Promotion of your program on the Barastoc website.
• Use of Werribee Park Facilities included in the general hire.

Your club/society will need to provide:

• Judges, stewards, officials for your ring.
• Ribbons, prizes for your ring.
• Facilitate your own program and entries
• Your society’s current Certificate of Currency or EV affiliation.
• Your Society may obtain its own sponsors providing they are not feed companies.
• The opportunity for your officials to be supplied a luncheon box to be delivered to each ring. The cost of this box will be $20 per head/official.
  
  We strongly recommend that you use an online entry platform as we will be requesting a list of your entries after the show for invoicing eg. Nominate or Trybooking

Fees:

The rate of $400 plus GST (if GST appl.) is per ring per day. Then the competitor is responsible for $24 (incl. GST) per horse/pony per day to be paid once only no matter how many rings the horse/pony competes in. This charge includes the Werribee Park facility fee of $20 and a $4 EV administration fee (inclusive of GST).

By completing this EOI, you are confirming your attendance at Barastoc 2026 and agreeing to the aforementioned fee structure. All attending societies, clubs and organisations will be sent a final invoice in February after the event.
