This dynamic program is designed to inspire young women to embrace their heritage, cultivate leadership skills, and build lifelong connections. Upon your acceptance into this, you will receive a digital copy of our exclusive Orientation Magazine, Official Cycle 4 Schedule, and your official acceptance letter. Your welcome package will detail everything you need to do to prepare for an exciting Cycle 4 season ahead.   • What Happens After You Apply:

    Submitting this application does not automatically enroll your child.Applications are reviewed by our leadership team, and selected families will receive: An acceptance notification, A parent orientation overview, and Full program details before any registration fees are due. Once your daughter is accepted, we work with you to ensure she is registered and ready to proceed for the 2026 Meet & Greet.

  • The Fine Print: Synopsis of Total Costs associated with applying for the #DefyTheOdds Mentorship Program and statewide 2026 Miss Juneteenth VIRGINIA Legacy Pageant:

    • Application Processing Fee: $35.00 (FULLY REFUNDABLE if not selected)
    • Virtual Registration Fee:  Registration fees apply to ONLY the applicants who are selected to move on to become a Virginia Semi-Finalist. Registration fees may be paid via installments.
      • Miss Division: $150.00
      • Jr. Miss Division: $100.00
      • Little Miss Division: $100.00
    • The initial installment must be paid within 10 days of acceptance. Registration Fees are Non-Refundable.
    • Alumni Applicants: Alumni Registrations receive 25% off for the 2026 Cycle.  

     

    Note 1: The application fee helps us carefully review each candidate and maintain the integrity of our statewide selection process.
