is a registered non-profit organization located in Edmonton, AB. We are run by a collective of 5 local artisans that have collaborated to bring the best handmade, high-quality goods to the local marketplace. We started this endeavour because each of us has a love of art and creativity! We believe in collaboration and supporting local artisans.

Our Commitment to You - We take no pay for the labour we put into our markets - your table fees pay only for marketing and administration. We do this because we are committed to supporting our local handmade community. We believe we are all stronger by supporting one another.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AHS REQUIRES 1 MONTH NOTICE FOR FOOD/BEVERAGE VENDORS, SO THE WAITLIST FOR THIS PART OF THE MARKET CLOSES IN OCTOBER.

Our market takes place in the Terwillegar Community Church, a spacious and accessible venue in the centre of the Terwillegar community.

We have room for up to 75 artists and artisans at our spring market. We are seeking artists and artisans that produce high-quality, uniquely crafted handmade goods. The greater Edmonton area has an amazingly talented art and artisan community, and we want to hear from you! We are excited to announce the addition of a Young Maker section, showcasing up and coming youth artists.

Our mission is to curate a market that ensures success for every participant while showcasing a wide variety of work for our patrons to shop from. Each market is mix of returning and new artisans, carefully curated from scratch to ensure success for all artisans.

Participation in a past market does not guarantee a spot in future markets. In the spirit of supporting our local artisan community, we are unable to accept out of province applications.

SPOTS AND FEES

The $100 spot is 6ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs.

The $120 spot is 8ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs. Any extra racks or displays must fit within the 8' space.

The $150 spot is a larger open space, 2 chairs but no table. All displays must fit within the s pace without blocking neighbouring booths. Due to the layout of the building, this spot may not be a 10x10 square, but will have approximately the same amount of space.

The $50 Young Maker spot is 6ft by 5ft and comes with a 6 foot table & 2 chairs.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please verify that you agree to the following:* This field is required.
1) I personally handcraft the items I sell, as outlined in the application above.
2) I understand that I am responsible for my own licensing, health permits as required by AHS, and event liability insurance. Inexpensive one day event insurance is available from companies like Duuo and PALS.
3) I understand that table sharing is not permitted. Collective or collaborative work will be considered on a case by case basis, and must be noted in the detailed description of your work.
4) I understand that I will only be entitled to sell what I have been approved to sell and that my application may only be partially accepted.
5) I will merchandise my space artistically and professionally, in a manner that highlights the products/artwork I am selling. Table coverings that extend to the floor are a market requirement.
6) After unloading, I will move my vehicle to the designated parking for artisans, leaving the spaces in the parking lots for our fabulous patrons.
7) Load-in starts at 8 am. I will plan my time accordingly and be prepared to sell by 9:50 am on the market date.
8) If I sell out of product, I will NOT leave the sale early in order to show proper respect to our customers and my fellow vendors.
9) I understand that I may not begin teardown until 4 pm, after the market closes.
10) I allow Hand2Hand to utilize the bio and pictures supplied to promote my business and the Hand2Hand Market.
11) I will abide by all public health and safety measures in place, to ensure the safety of my fellow vendors, market partners, facility staff, and patrons.
12) I understand and agree with the H2H Partners vision in supporting handmade. I appreciate my Handmade Community and I commit to supporting myself and them by sharing and inviting people to this event. We (the partners) will do everything possible to support you in this.
13) I agree to respect the business of my fellow artists and will not encroach on their space, block displays or allow my customers to block or interfere with the displays of neighbouring artists.
14) Cancellation/Refund policy: If Hand2Hand has to cancel a market, full refunds will be issued. Vendors that cancel up to 60 days prior to the market will receive a refund less 15%. Vendors that cancel up to 30 days prior to the market will receive a refund less 25%. Cancellations after the 30 day mark will not receive a refund. Market fees are non-transferable and will not be carried over to the next market.
15) I agree to conduct myself professionally in my interactions with the Market Partners, facility staff, fellow artists and customers. Verbal or physical abuse will not be tolerated. Any artist that fails to conduct themself in a professional and respectful manner may be asked to leave, and will not be permitted to attend future markets.
