    The mission of the Black Raven Marketplace is to create a space that showcases an array of unique and imaginative vendors, artists and creators who resonate with a darker, more alternative audience. Our goal is to provide a marketplace where unconventional, eerie and artfully macabre products can thrive, offering attendees an immersive experience that celebrates the mysterious and the beautifully strange. By bringing together talented individuals who specialize in fashion, art, accessories, decor, and more, we aim to foster a community where those with a passion for the unusual and the extraordinary can connect and find inspiration. The most colorful minds often thrive in the shadows.

     

    Our Process

    The Black Raven Marketplace values your feedback regarding any issues or concerns you may have. It allows us to review our practices and improves our vendor experience.

    To further clarify the Vendor Application process, we at Black Raven Marketplace must adhere to California requirements to hold our events. It is important to understand that most California city and counties have their own Business License and tax ordinace, which require a license to operate and permit to sell. As the event operator, we may be held liable for penalties for any vendor who does not have the required documentation. For all Black Raven Marketplace events, we will continue to make sure that participating vendors have valid business documents.

     

    Event Hours

    We at Black Raven Marketplace must adhere to the venue rules to hold our event. As the event operator, our goal is to arrange our show schedule so that all vendors have ample time to set up and take down, with a focus on actual vending hours.

     

    Maximizing Your Profits        

    To aide our vendors with maximizing their profits, we would like to suggest that you consider alternative ways to market your products.

    • Increase/decrease pricing based on Orange County/demographics
    • Bundle products
    • Offer multiple versions of your product at different price points
    • Show specials for your followers/attendees
    • Plan to merchandise your table as high as eye level to maximize your space

  • VENUE

    Our venue is located 1301 South Bristol, Santa Ana, California. this is an outdoor show with a flat asphalt surface. Ample free parking  for vendors and attendees.

     

    SHOW TIME  10:00am-3:00pm

    Vendors can start moving in at 8:00am

    We must vacant  the property by 4:00pm

     

    VENDOR SPACE & FEE

     

    10x10 Space - $55   Bring your own gear. Tables, chairs, canopies and umbreallas will not be provided. Electricity is not available.

    PER DAY.

    ONE DAY = $55

    TWO DAYS = $110

    THREE DAYS = $165

    FOUR DAYS = $220

    FIVE DAYS = $275

    SIX DAYS = $330

     

    Food, Sweets, Desserts & Beverage Booths-Cart - $75 

    Food & Beverage Truck-Trailer-$100

    Must have all current permits & licensing

     

     

    Storage containers must be hidden or discreetly stored within the assigned space.

    No open flame, burning sage or use of fog machines.

     

     

    *VENDOR APPLICATION

    Applications will be reviewed and those that match our criteria will be notified by email that they now have the space at the Black Raven Marketplace.

    Our criteria: brand alignment, product quality, product variety, audience appeal, professionalism, merchandising know how, price range.

    *If you've been with us before we will review the number of makers within your catagory.

     

    PAYMENT IS DUE UPON ACCEPTANCE. YOUR SPACE IS NOT SECURE UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECIEVED.

    Payment fee will be accepted through Zelle using our email address: blackravenmarketplace@gmail.com

    Unfortunatly, there aren't any other payment options this time.

     

     

    MARKETING

    Black Raven Marketplace will do our part to bring you your audience. We utilize social media platforms, free, as well as paid for advertising, gorilla marketing within Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Inland Empire and the Valleys. Press releases and save the date emails sent to radio and TV. We invite clubs, associations and meet-up groups to use our event as a back drop for their own gataherings. We blanket other events and locations where our audience is.

     

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Should you be unable to participate after being paid in full please understand that there are no refunds. 

     

    SELLING SPACE

    Selling space must be manned at all times during the show.

    Leave your space clean and trash free upon leaving.

     

    MERCHANDISE

    The sale of alcohol, tobacco, "420" products, firearms, and weapons of any kind is prohibited. Taxidermy needs verificaion of being ethically sourced.

     

    VENDOR PROMOTION

    Black Raven Marketplace will supply marketing materials in advance of the show.

     

    LIABILITY

    It is recommended that you carry your own liability insurance. (Act Insurance provides coverage for as low as $49 for a one day pop up event) However, if you opt not to purchase insurance, the Black Raven Marketplace will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the participants property, injury to, or death of the participant. or its agents, employees, and/or personnel or participants sales. Participant assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction, resulting from any cause whatsoever, including, but not limited to, acts or omissions by participant, and hereby releases and waives any claims against the Black Raven Marketplace related to such loss, damage, liability, injury and/or destruction.

     

    BUSINESS LICENSE

    It is mandatory that businesses have a valid license to conduct business in every city they operate in.Sellers are responsible for the operation of their own business, including their own sales tax during the show and being compliant with state and municipality requirements. 

     

    SELLERS PERMIT

    Businesses must have a valid Seller's Permit to sell. Your Seller's Permit must include the address that you will be physically selling at, (NOT YOUR HOME ADDRESS) Please send us a copy of your sellers permit and Santa Ana business License for our recirds.

     

    PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO

    Photos and/or video may be taken of your space and products with these images and video being used by Black Raven Marketplace for promotional purposes. The use of images are to promote the event as a whole and not highlight a brand or business. Images may be of sellers that are not currently included to sell with us.

     

    CODE OF CONDUCT

    Be nice. Be kind. We are in this together.

    If you make physical or verbal threats, or abuse, are obscene, libelous or have slanderous conduct, disruptive behavior, willful disobedience, profanity, vulgarity towards vendors, black Raven marketplace staff, or Doubletree Hotel staff, you will be evicted promptly and can expect permanent expulsion from future Black Raven Marketplace shows.

     

    COMPLIANCE

    The Black Raven Marketplace reserves the right to restrict and evict any seller for non-compliance with rules and regulations, as stated herewith, or any seller whose method of operation distracts from the integrity of the event without refund to the seller. No seller shall conduct business to interfere with or disturb others. Failure to comply with any of these rules stated here with shall be grounds for eviction from this event without refund.
