MAV Streetlighting program: the EDPR process and smart lighting

We have seen a lot in the 21 years Ironbark has existed - T5s, CFL, LED, smart lighting, but this webinar with MAV will outline the biggest change in Victoria that we have ever seen.

The Victorian Electricity Distribution Price Review (EDPR) process, overseen by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), determines the prices that Electricity Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs) can charge for services, including street lighting.

Based on initial positions and advocacy from local governments, the outcomes of the EDPR process are expected to include:

Replacement of 150,000 to 200,000 streetlights to LEDs (a third of all the streetlights in the state)
Implementation or expansion of smart lighting systems across all DNSPs leading to a likely install base of 100,000 to 200,000 smart lights
