  • LOW COST KAPON RATES:

    (Inclusion of anesthesia, 1 day antibiotic and pain reliever)
    *** for dogs that are 10 kg above- additional of P100 per1 kg excess
    Additional fees: Wakin rates, accidental finding such as (pregnant, pyometra, hydrometra, inguinal & abdominal castration)
    *** Brachycephalic breed (short nose and flat face) dogs and cats are not recommended for our Mass Spay & Neuter event since we are not equipped with gas anesthesia. However, Endotracheal tube support will be placed on the pets who are registered to avoid any respiratory depression/distress.
    (Example: French Bulldog, Pug, Boxer, Boston Terrier, Pekingese, Shih-Tzu, Exotic Shorthair, Himalayan Cat)

     

  • Kapon Guidelines
    1. All can participate on the said event.
    2. Note that the Mass Spay and Neuter event are a long wait. Some patient may take longer than the others since the anesthesia effect may vary depending on the ability of the body to eliminate the drug
    3. ALL PET REGISTERED TO THE EVENT MUST BE HEALTHY. Patient who are hospitalized 1month ago are not allowed. All maintenance medications and current medication must be relayed to the person on the registration before proceeding with the surgery. History of disease and vaccination record should also be informed.
    4. We recommend that the patient is completely vaccinated prior the surgery.
    5. Cats can be spayed on the age of 4 months atleast(2 kg) and dogs at the age of 6 months. For male cats and dogs, they can be castrated when both of the balls have fully descended. An interval of 2 months are recommended for female cats or dogs that had undergone pregnancy and birth.
    6. Fasting of 8 hours prior the surgery is recommended to avoid events that may risk the patients life.
    7. Complete blood test is recommended prior the procedure to eliminate any underlying problem and to check if the patient is fit to undergo the procedure. Blood Chemistry is recommended for dogs and cats 3 years and above. If the owner will decline, she/he must sign the waiver form (AMA Form). Blood tests shoud be done 3 days PRIOR the surgery. You can send a copy of blood test result at our Facebook page (Vet Vibe Veterinary Clinic and Grooming Services) to evaluate by the Veterinarian/Surgeon.
    8. Please use proper cages and carriers when transporting the pets to the Kapon site. Avoid putting several pets on one cage, separate them to avoid licking each other wound and fights. For dogs, leash is allowed but provide muzzle for dogs that are tend to be aggressive when stressed.
    9. Drop off time start at 9am to 1pm. Walk-ins will be determined on the availability of anesthesia medications. Fees apply (P300)
    10. Payment of the Kapon fee will be on site. Additionals such as incidental finding will be informed to the owner after the pet surgery.

    • To minimize the risk, we recommend pre anesthetic blood work, especially for pets 3 years and above or those with pre-existing medical conditions.
      • CBC is recommended 3 days prior the surgery. Present the cbc result on the registration or send a copy to our Facebook page for evaluation of the Veterinarian. If the patient is not fit for the surgery, we recommend for a thorough veterinary check-up.
      • Owners who will declined the pre-surgical testing must signed the waiver or AMA (AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE) form before proceeding with the registration.

    • Event Flow 
    • 1. Pre-register online. The registration form is available at our Facebook page. You can also register by scanning the QR code on our flyers and tarpouline. All registrants must pay P150 registration fee to reserve a slot. ( Registration fee is non refundable and non deductable). But transferable to other owner and pets.
      2. Come on time on your appointment date. Drop-off time start at 9AM and ended at 1pm. STRICTLY FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
      3. Upon arrival to the Kapon Site, get a number and wait your number to be called by the registration.
      4. Once your number is called. Approach the registration and bring your companion animal with you for physical examination. All relevant history and details must be informed during this time. CBC result may be also shown by the registration for evaluation of the Surgeon.
      5. A Cage tag will be filled along with your registration. Provide your contact details, so we can contact you once the pet is ready to be sent home. Other services such as vaccines, spot on treatment, ecollar and body suit can be avail also on the registration.
      6. Accidental findings will be relayed to you after the pet surgery via call or in person. Additional fee for incidental findings should be settled before releasing the pet.
      7. Once your pet is released, you will be given a prescription and post-op instructions. Make sure that the pet is awake before release. Take home medications can be bought on the site. All spayed and neuter companion must wear an e-collar or body suit (female cats) to avoid post-op complications and Surgical repair.
      8. In case of post operative complications related to KAPON (excessive bleeding, swelling, redness and pus discharge on the wound site) please call +63991-767-2600 or go to your nearest Veterinarian

      I acknowledge that the procedure will be performed by licensed veterinary professionals, and I agree to follow any post-surgery care instructions provided to ensure the well-being of my pet. I accept responsibility for the care and treatment of my pet before and after the surgery.

      I agree to assume full responsibility for any fees incurred related to the procedure.
