Confirmation at St. Dominic is scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

An parishinor finishing their Sophomore year of high school in May, 2025 and wishes to recieve the Sacrament of Confirmation should fill out this registration form.

Confirmation preparation will consist of 6 classes (approximately once per month from September-March), an overnight retreat, completion of at least 6 service hours, and a reflection on a chosen Saint. Please note - the classes will be spread out through the fall and spring semesters. This is different than in past years when all classes were held in the spring!

All registered candidates will receive a full information packet with more information including class dates/times, program fee, and retreat options in August. All registered candidates may begin working on their service hour requirement as soon as they are registered. Many candidates complete all of their service hours in the summer between their Sophomore and Junior year!

All Candidates will need to provide a copy of their Baptismal Certificate. If you are not able to locate it, your church of Baptism can provide a replacement. If your church of Baptism (including St. Dominic) was flooded in Hurricane Katrina in 2005, you may have to contact the Archives Office of the Archidiocese of New Orleans.
