AVA Artisan Market Inventory Change Out Schedule

2025 - 2026

All artworks on display in AVA's Artisan Market must be routinely changed out according to the scheduled weeks below.

August 5th, 2025 by 11:59pm - Submissions Due

August 26th - 30th, 2025 - Artwork Drop Off

December 9th, 2025 by 11:59pm - Submissions Due

January 6th - 10th, 2026 - Artwork Drop Off

April 7th, 2026 by 11:59pm - Submissions Due

April 21st - 25th, 2026 - Artwork Drop Off

August 4th, 2026 by 11:59pm - Submissions Due

August 25th - 29th, 2026 - Artwork Drop Off

Return of unsold artwork is the responsibility of the artist. If return shipping is necessary, artists must communicate directly with AVA staff to facilitate the timely return of artwork, and shipping must be arranged and paid for by the artist. Any expired artworks not claimed within 90 days of the prior Market Inventory change out will be retained by AVA and disposed of at the discretion of AVA staff.

Please include up to 20 examples of the artwork you would like to display in AVA's Artisan Market. AVA Staff will contact you directly after each submission due date to notify you of which submitted artworks were selected for inclusion in the Artisan Market. Artists may submit up to 20 artworks for consideration, but it is the discretion of AVA Staff to select which artworks will display. All work submitted must be Artist’s original work. Artworks that will not be considered for inclusion in the Artisan Market include: Celebrity Portraits or Fan Art, Direct Copies or Replications of another Artwork belonging to anyone besides the submitting Artist, Photo Reference or Artwork blatantly infringing on copyright lawsUpon submitting artworks for display in AVA’s Artisan Market, the Artist certifies that he or she holds the copyright for this material and the copyright remains with said Artist. The Artist also certifies that the work submitted is original and does not infringe on any existing copyright. If artwork includes image of any person, artist certifies that a model release for such person has been obtained.Artists are strongly encouraged to include their name, a title and the price on each artwork, attached with a sales tag or sticker. Artists may also provide a business card or appropriate professional links to their website or digital platforms to be included with the purchase of the artwork.Artwork may not exceed 36 inches in any direction for display in AVA's Artisan Market. Exceptions may be made on an individual basis when approved by AVA Staff.Artworks must be delivered to AVA finished and display ready with appropriate frames and hanging systems. For more information about AVA's framing expectations, please contact AVA staff directly.Participating artists agree that AVA has permission to use images and reference of artwork for any promotional purposes including print, electronic, and media. Selected artworks will be highlighted in AVA’s social media and marketing campaigns.Return of unsold artwork is the responsibility of the artist. AVA Community Art Center retains a commission amount for the facilitation of all sales. Artists with current AVA Membership receive a commission rate of 65% on all sales. Non-members receive a commission rate of 55% on all sales. Membership must be current for present calendar year, and artists can renew their membership at www.avacenter.org. Commission checks will be issued by the 5th day of the following month after a sale, and mailed to the address provided by the artist in this contract.
