Show Synopsis
Always, Patsy Cline, a musical based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. The musical play, complete with down-home country humor, true emotion, and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight”
Character Breakdown
Esther - A young, Orthodox Jewish woman in an arranged marriage who begins to question the constraints of her religious and social life.
Schmuli - Esther's husband, also Orthodox, who grapples with traditional expectations of masculinity and his own gentleness.
Sophie - A secular woman, married to Abe, who is also a writer but struggles with her career and the demands of family life.
Abe - Sophie's husband, a successful novelist, who begins an email correspondence with Julia Cheever, a movie star.
Julia Cheever - A famous actress who becomes involved in Abe's life through an email exchange, prompting him to question his own life choices.

Auditions will be cold reading.
WCP seeks to include persons of every race, color, culture, age, gender, creed, physical disability, and sexual orientation.
