TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Cancellation Policy
a. All cancellations must be sent to Disability Connect (Trading as Creative Space Media) in writing.
b. No verbal cancellation will be accepted.
c. All bookings cancelled will be subject to the following condition:
d. 50% Cancellation fee of the total package if cancelled 60 days prior to the event date.
e. 100% Cancellation fee of the total package if cancelled 30 days prior to the event date.

2. Methods of Payment
a. EFT Transfers: We accept EFT transfers our bank account subject to condition that proof of payment or transfer is provided to ourselves and such payment has been confirmed as received by ourselves.
b. Credit Cards: payment may be made using Visa or Mastercard only via our secure online Virtual Card Services (VCS) payment portals.

3. General Information
a. Packages Rates exclude VAT and will be reflected on the invoice.
b. Confidentiality: Subject to statutory constraints or compliance with an order of court, Disability Connect undertakes to deal with all client information of a personal nature on a strictly confidential basis.
c. We undertake not to disclose your personal information unless it is legally or contractually required to do so. We agree to use all reasonable efforts to ensure your personal information in our possession is kept confidential, stored in a secure manner and processed in terms of POPI.

4. Agrees to voluntary Participation
a. The Participant agrees and acknowledges that they have chosen Participate in the Event and/or to take part in the exhibition being offered by the organisers, which participation is by their own free will.

5. Warrants that
a. He/she enters the venue to participate in the Event at his own risk including participation and any exhibition or demonstration.

6. Force Majeure
a. Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss, as a result of “force majeure”. In these Booking Conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may also include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics such as SARS, Coronavirus and the like, fire and all similar events outside our control.
