    • What to expect
    • Completing this application is an important step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Out of the Blue Aussies. However, it does not guarantee that you will receive a puppy from this or any future litter. While it is uncommon, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

      Approval and Holding Fee
Applications are reviewed and processed in the order they are received. If your home is deemed a good fit, we will notify you. Approved applicants will receive information indicating that a puppy may be available. Once we confirm that we have a puppy of the desired sex, we will verify that the timing aligns with your family’s schedule.

      Going Home
We cannot hold puppies for extended periods, as it is vital for their social development that they leave the litter within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a vacation or events planned that might interfere with caring for a young puppy, please be aware that puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their complete vaccinations, including rabies, which cannot be administered before 3 months of age.

      Contract
We require a signed contract prior to placing a puppy, as we believe it is essential to clearly outline the responsibilities and expectations of both parties. Our contract ensures that all terms are documented to avoid any misunderstandings. If you have questions about specific clauses, please contact us before picking up your puppy.

      Spay/Neuter
We require that spay or neuter procedures be performed only once the puppy has fully matured, typically at one year of age. Maintaining sex hormones during growth is essential for proper bone and ligament development. Spaying or neutering earlier will void our Health Guarantee.

      Registration Papers
Limited registration papers will be issued upon confirmation of spay/neuter by your veterinarian.

      If Things Don’t Work Out
Our contract includes a take-back provision. Any puppy from Out of the Blue Aussies will always have a home with us and will never face the uncertainty of a shelter. If, for any reason, you are unable to keep your Aussie, we must be your first contact. All returns will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure the well-being of the dog.
