Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920 by five amazing women. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is excited to pay homage to the first women who believed in the need for a new and different type of Greek-lettered organization and acted upon that need. To these women, Zeta was more than an organization: it was a movement. Zeta was a belief system that reflected, at its core, the desire to provide true Service, to embrace Scholarship, to set a standard for Sisterly Love and to define the noble concept of Finer Womanhood.
The Omega Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc would like to present five (5) scholarships, for the academic school year of 2025 - 2026, in honor of our five founding members: Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, and Fannie Pettie Watts. Additionally, four (4) scholarships will be awarded to graduating female seniors in the amount of $1,000 each.
