Upon approval of this application by the PTC Board of Directors, the applicant and its representatives agree to abide by the PTC Bylaws, support the principles of the PTC Membership Advantage, and adhere to all decisions made by the PTC Board of Directors.

    • To determine the best fit for your company's membership category within the Pipe Tobacco Council, Inc. (PTC), consider the nature of your business activities in relation to the membership categories provided below and select an appropriate category for your business.

      A Regular Member (including its parent, subsidiaries and affiliates) who (i) manufactured a minimum of twenty thousand (20,000) pounds of pipe tobacco during the most recent calendar year; or (ii) imported during the most recent calendar year a minimum of (20,000) pounds of pipe tobacco contained in consumer packages at the time of importation.

      An Associate Member who furnishes goods, accessories, or services for the pipe tobacco industry or who manufactured less than (20,000) pounds of pipe tobacco during the most recent calendar year; or (ii) imported during the most recent calendar year a minimum of (20,000) pounds of pipe tobacco contained in consumer packages at the time of importation.

    Once you’ve completed the Certification section below and submitted your application, we will promptly reach out to schedule a conversation. During this meeting, we’ll review your application in detail, answer any questions you may have, and explore how we can work together to advance our shared mission and vision for the pipe tobacco industry.

    As part of our standard membership review process, the PTC Board Members may, on an as-needed basis, request additional information about your company to complete its evaluation. These requests help us ensure that new members align with the values and standards of the association.

    All information submitted will be treated as confidential and used solely for internal membership evaluation purposes.

    Please note that submission of this application does not guarantee membership approval. All applications are subject to review and approval by the PTC Board of Directors. Membership will become active upon official approval by the Board and receipt of the applicable dues payment.

  • The undersigned Applicant does hereby:

    1. APPLY for membership in the PIPE TOBACCO COUNCIL, INC.

    2. PLEDGE and obligate himself / herself and the company:

    1. to faithfully observe and perform all the provisions of the Bylaws of the Association and all rules and regulations lawfully made and adopted from time-to-time by the Association or its Board of Directors, and
    2. to pay all dues and assessments that may be levied or imposed upon the Members in accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of said Bylaws; and

    3. CERTIFIES that the information set forth in this Application is accurate and true.

  • Once your application has been submitted, here’s what you can expect:

    1. Acknowledgment Email
    You will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your application. This message will also include a summary of the next steps in the review process, so you know what to expect moving forward.

    2. Membership Alignment Meeting
    A member of the PTC Board of Directors will contact you to schedule a conversation. During this meeting, we will:

    • Review your application details,
    • Answer any questions you may have,
    • Discuss how your company aligns with CAA’s mission and goals,
    • And provide an overview of member benefits and engagement opportunities.

    3. Membership Committee Review
    Following the meeting, your application will be reviewed by the PTC Board of Directors. On an as-needed basis, the Board may request additional company information to support the review process.

    4. Notification of Decision
    Once the Board has completed its review, you will be notified of the final decision. If approved, your membership becomes active upon receipt of dues payment.
