Cowtown Farmers Market

The roots of the Cowtown Farmers Market are intertwined with the history of the Cowtown Rodeo. Since 1955 the Cowtown Rodeo has presented the thrills and excitement of a truly American Cowboy Tradition every week.

Howard “Stoney” Harris first started a regular weekly auction in Woodstown, NJ in 1927. He held an annual rodeo until 1938 as a feature of the Salem County Fair, the rodeo was held on Main Street in Woodstown. Now, Cowtown Rodeo is considered the oldest weekly running rodeo in the USA!
