To complete your application you will need:

- full educational history from high school forward, including name and location of each college or university attended, degrees earned or approximate number of credits earned if you have not earned a degree
- unofficial transcripts for determining acceptance
- list of all law schools attended, including name of school, location, and years of study completed, as well as reasons for leaving
- employment information
- criminal history information, including all convictions, as well as any current warrants or charges
If you are missing any of these items, you may save the application for up to 30 days. However, if you pay the non-refundable application fee and do not compelete the application wihtin 30 days, you will have to re-apply and pay the $40 fee again.

Graduates are eligible to sit for the California Bar Examination but may not qualify for other states' bar exams unless independently allowed.
